At Academy Insurance Agency, we have the necessary skills and knowledge to help you find the coverage that’s right for you. As independent insurance agents, we work with multiple carriers allowing us to run your rates through all carriers, many not available to the general public, to allow us to thoroughly search the market and ensure you are getting the best rate possible.
We will do whatever it takes to help you find a policy that you understand and feel comfortable with whether that's a custom Maserati that you want full replacement value, or a classic GTO that's driven only to shows, or your every day vehicle and everything in between; we have the carriers and policies to serve you. We run rates with multiple levels of coverage to give you options, not just one option that serves everyone's needs, as your needs are unique to you.
We also believe in product knowledge so you know what you're carrying and how it will apply to you.
Auto Insurance policies will typically include coverage for the following:
Bodily Injury Liability – provides you with liability protection for injuries that occur in an accident where you are at fault.
Medical Payments or Personal Injury Protection (PIP) – Medical Payments covers the medical treatment for injuries to the driver and passengers of the policy holder’s car. This also covers you if you are a pedestrian or bicyclist and a driver hits you. Also, any dental care resulting from an accident, and, in the worst case scenario, funeral expense. PIP is similar but distinct; while medical payments coverage is strictly intended to cover medical bills, PIP takes it s step further, covering health costs and resulting lost wages for you and your passengers after an accident and regardless of fault. PIP is specifically for car related injuries which are sometimes excluded from health insurance policies.
Property Damage Liability – provides coverage if you cause damage to someone else’s property, including their car, homes, signs, fences, guardrails, telephone poles, etc.
Uninsured and Under-insured Motorist Coverage – What happens when the driver that just hit you doesn't have enough insurance, or worse, leaves the scene ? Uninsured/under-insured motorist will provide liability coverage to you if you are involved in a crash with a hit-and-run driver, or someone that has insufficient bodily injury coverage, or no bodily injury coverage, and they are at fault and you are injured. This coverage would cover your medical bills, property damage, and more.
Collision – covers damage to your vehicle if you are hit by an uninsured driver, or if you are at fault and need coverage to repair your vehicle.
Comprehensive – covers for theft or damage caused by something other than an accident, or involving another car, including extreme weather conditions, falling objects, explosions, riots, vandalism, or contact/collision with an animal.
Also, available add on coverage includes rental car reimbursement, towing, full replacement cost or agreed value on the vehicle (no depreciation or Blue Book Value on a total loss payout), personal property (items inside the vehicle), custom parts & equipment (rims, lights, lift kit). + many more options to cover your personal auto needs.
We know that selecting the right policy can be confusing that’s why we are here for you and can take the guesswork out of the quoting process.
